NetCDRom
has the capability to handle all your specialty
printing projects. Some of our services include
silkscreen printing and large format printing.
We also have the capability to do embossing, foiling
and flexor. You can provide your own artwork,
or have our designers produce high-quality art
exclusively for you.
Silkscreen
Printing
The
primary benefit of silkscreen printing is the
breadth of materials that can be printed, including
items such as CDs, apparel, electronic circuitry
and signage. In this process, the inks are spread
through silk meshes that mask off non-printing
areas. Depending on the material being printed,
the quality can range as high as 120 dpi.
Large
Format Printing
This
process is used for printing posters and banners.
This completely digital process outputs a computer
file directly onto the final material. Sizes vary
from 12 to 54 inches wide by nearly any length.
Print quality ranges from 75 dpi to 600 dpi. Materials
that can be used include paper, canvas and vinyl.
Because each piece is printed digitally, even
small runs can be printed economically.
Embossing
Typically
applied to items such as business cards, greeting
cards or specialty items, embossing literally
adds depth to your design. It can be used to emphasize
a logo or graphic image, or it can be used as
a creative element, such as giving a chiseled
look or adding texture to the final printed piece.
Foiling
Metallic
foil can give a stunning look to your business
cards, greeting cards or packaging. In this process,
the areas where foil is to be applied is first
printed with ink. Then in a second run, metallic
foil is adhered to the surface. This complex process
results in a finish that cannot be duplicated
by using metallic inks. The choice of foils range
from gold and silver to vibrant colors such as
red, green or blue.
Flexo
This
is a process used for printing pressure sensitive
labels such as shipping labels, bottle and can
packaging, cigar rings, and stickers. One to four
colors can be used, allowing for full-color images
to be printed. Typically an additional UV coating
is applied to ensure long-lasting color. The printed
product is die cut into the final shape and delivered
in rolls for easy handling and automated application.
