SoftScience to Provide Extreme Comfort to Feet at the San Clemente Music Festival, Aug. 9, 2015

On Sunday, August 9, local footwear brand SoftScience™ will invite locals to step into the comfort zone at the San Clemente Music Festival. Headquartered in Oceanside, the company is the new brainchild of Scott Seamans, a Crocs® founder, and John Duerden, former president and COO of Reebok®, and a former CEO at Crocs.

SoftScience takes comfortable, casual footwear to an entirely new level. The company offers a unique product, with a growing fan base eager to try the shoes on in person. Attendees can choose from the Drift, Skiff, Light Walker and Fin styles.

“We have had incredible success at events across the county and we’re excited to be participating in our very first hometown event,” said SoftScience CEO and president, John Duerden. “We’ve witnessed the enthusiasm when people put the shoes on. There isn’t a shoe like ours on the market today – they allow the foot to lie flat and relax, and the uniquely cushioned footbed helps disperse body weight evenly across the foot, reducing pressure points and alleviating discomfort.”

SoftScience features several distinct styles including the popular Fin fishing shoe, the flip-flip Skiff with arch support, the Light Walker designed for active women, and the Drift slip-on that can also be worn as a clog. Both men and women can experience the ultimate in footwear comfort, even after long hours on their feet. SoftScience, Inc. is headquartered in Oceanside, Calif., and includes a team of professionals from Crocs® and Reebok®. The team is driven by a shared and simple passion – to make comfortable, functional and attractive shoes.

Looking forward to Sunday, San Clemente!
