Booth #4007 at the Miami Beach Convention Center

Miami International Boat Show attendees will be among the first in the country to see the new SoftScience Skiffs as they are launched as part of the 2015 footwear line at the show, February 12–16. Designed by sailing enthusiasts and former Crocs Executives Scott Seamans and John Duerden, SoftScience brings arch support, cushioning, foot, back and joint support to the flat flip-flop world.

“We think Skiffs are the most comfortable, supportive flip-flop people will ever wear,” said John Duerden, SoftScience president and CEO. “The SoftScience Skiff uses a proprietary material called Trileon - a closed cell copolymer, which allows the flip-flop to be lightweight, supportive and superbly cushioned—all at an attractive price. The Skiff is designed for everyone who craves incredible foot comfort in a sandal. Our early samples received rave reviews, and we look forward to introducing a comfort flip-flop to the SoftScience line.”

In addition to the Skiffs, attendees are invited to “step into the comfort zone” as SoftScience showcases supreme comfort footwear in Booth 4007 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The signature espadrille Drift, the Cruise boating shoe and the Fin water shoe will be available for show attendees to experience a new dimension in supreme comfort footwear.

The Miami Boat Show is located at 1901 Convention Center Drive in Miami Beach, FL 33139. From February 12 – 16, more than 100,000 boating enthusiasts from around the globe attend the show, which is one of the world’s largest boating events. The event spans three locations and features one-of-a-kind boat debuts, the latest marine gadgets and accessories. For information, please visit visit
